Marianna Sacra is a visual artist drawn to the feeling of out-of-placeness.

Working primarily with photography, her images move through overlooked spaces and forgotten structures, where fragments, barriers, and reflections shift the sense of what is seen, blurring the lines of perception. The work resists narrative, holding instead to moments that feel unresolved.

She works without staging, guided by a sensitivity to placement, light, and obstruction. Her current practice circles around absence and the instability of familiar environments.

Sacra shares a home town with Snow White and currently resides in New England.
